The blade has a wrought iron broken back spine with two high layer count twisted pattern welded bars and a high carbon steel cutting edge. The blade has been hardened and tempered.
The handle is slightly distressed oak, stained and waxed.
It also features a bolster cast in bronze with Saxon inspired decoration.
