Here is a hand forged Anglo Saxon Inspired Seax.
The blade has a wrought iron broken back spine with a twisted pattern welded bar (a mixture of high carbon and wrought iron) and a high carbon steel cutting edge. The blade has been hardened and tempered.
The handle is British Damson wood , stained and waxed.
