The blade has a wrought iron back spine with 3 high layer twisted pattern welded bar that is in the form of a serpent flowing along the blade as well as a high carbon steel cutting edge. The blade has been hardened and tempered.
The handle is ash , stained and waxed.
It also features a soldered brass sheet bolster.
